Purpose of Retaining Samples
A sample of every OEM product will be retained. Each sample must be clearly labeled with the following information: (Product model and name, production batch number/date of manufacture, date of retention,
order number or engineering number associated with the person retaining the sample, and certification number (if applicable)).
Periodic Inventory
Conduct an inventory every six months or once a year.
Samples that have exceeded their retention period shall be submitted for disposal by the Quality Department after confirming that there are no quality-related issues.
Destructive Disposal
Retained samples that are no longer needed (especially those bearing brand logos)
should be disassembled or destroyed to prevent them from entering the market.
